These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SmartFootage. By using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Service
SmartFootage is an AI-powered workflow tool that helps video creators find stock footage. Users connect their own third-party media library accounts. SmartFootage does not host, store, or redistribute media — all content is fetched directly from third-party providers using credentials supplied by the user.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at contact@smartfootage.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code of the service
- Use automated scripts or bots to abuse or circumvent usage limits
- Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
- Use the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
- Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Subscriptions and Billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until that period ends.
Third-Party Services
SmartFootage integrates with third-party services to deliver its functionality. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, content, or conduct.
Intellectual Property
SmartFootage and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by [Your Name / Company] and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Stock media accessed through the service remains subject to the licensing terms of the provider from which it was obtained.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SmartFootage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Brazilian courts.
